05/07/2021, 6:35 AMThough standard dictates positive is on the right - if I remember correctly. Though that would depend on the electrician hooking up your sockets in the correct manner.
TL:DR; For AC circuits, orientation does not matter.

Atleast one part of it - but not worth buying it from Amazon. These are relatively inexpensive and you can get it for 30 odd bucks from a shop nearby.
Tube light adaptor is what you’ll probably tell the shop keeper on the phone.

05/07/2021, 7:29 AMNothing wrong. I've never done wiring before so I am finding it hard to keep them together. I applied the electrical tape after connecting the wires but despite that the wires got disconnected 😂
