Anyone have Sony WH-1000xm4? What's your experience with it?

Been using it for 4 months now, it’s an amazing pair. The sound, comfort and ANC are top-notch. I use this EQ setting and it sounds amazing The multi-point connectivity is a huge plus for me, but sometimes switching from laptop to phone does not work as expected. Works fine most of the times though

Same experience as @melodic-jordan-81418 mentioned. I have been using XM4 for almost 8 months now. And no major complaints.

I have been using it for 4 months as well. No complaints till now. The best feature is multi-device pairing. Battery life is just awesome. The only negative that I found is it gets a little sweaty in hotter climates in India after an hour of usage. If the climate is a little cooler then its perfect.

Co-incidently, my wife got it just today and they’re pretty good! I’ve been using Bose QC35 for past 4 years and these Sony ones are making me jealous. 😄

Wait don't, I have the xm4 and the call quality is average and has annoying problems. I kinda regret my xm4 and would've gone for the bose 700 had I know these issues existed.

What other annoying problems?

sounds like your headset is on the Bluetooth HFP profile instead of A2DP

Just Googled those and it looks like an audio quality difference. That's not the issue. Audio quality is good, it's just ANC on calls is average. The most annoying things is when on a call, XM4 turns on ambient noise by default. The receiver gets the ANC noiseless version, whereas I hear ambient noise.

Did someone experience Tinnitus with these? Amazon's top 2 review scares me.

@lemon-knife-94497 yes even I saw that, but I didn’t care. I just got it delivered yesterday and I’m already loving it. I bought it solely for work purpose now I’m using XM4 to listen music and other misc stuff, keeping aside the OP Buds, Bullets and another wired headset that I have. I would say it worth the money if you can get it under 24k-ish. I got mine for 21k in amazon prime day offers.

I got mine in Dec 2020 and love them. These are also my first pair of ANC wireless headphones so I don't have anything else to compare them to based on personal experience.
