Looking for recommendations on first smartphone for an aunt of mine (price under 8k/9k). Usage will mostly be Whatsapp Video/Audio calls and Youtube. Few questions: 1. What is the minimum RAM you recommend to keep the phone for next 3 years atleast? (Options for reference 2GB, 3GB, 4GB) 2. Any beginner models you recommend which do not have massive screens?

As per my experience with Android, anything less than 4GB RAM is a no go. Android is a RAM hungry OS.

Samsung will not survive 3 years. Have experienced this multiple times, most recently with the A30 (15k). Samsung phones will start lagging 10-12 months in. Try to find if stock android is available within that range
