Have you ever turned your old home-theatre speakers to play wirelessly via bluetooth? I researched on the internet but couldn't find a layman explanation. I got lost in terms like amplifiers, woofers, subwoofers, transmitters. 😟 We have an LG home-theatre bought decades ago. I want to discard the huge central system (that neither has a 3.5mm jack nor bluetooth), with CDs, and cassettes but keep the speakers and find a way to connect to them wirelessly. I am attaching a picture of the central-system, the speaker, the wires and the slot where the wires go. Does anyone know how this can be done?

You will need an Amplifier to hook these speakers up with. Buying an Amplifier will need some good research 🙂
You can also checkout AV Receivers. Amplifiers are quite basic (you pay for good listening experience), whereas AV receivers include modern features like Wi-Fi, bluetooth, etc, but these are costly 💰

would chrome cast audio work ?

Does that central unit have a 3.5mm audio jack? I see something below those 2 knobs but cannot read whether it says mic/audio-out/something-else (too blur). If yes, you can keep the central system and use something like this bluetooth adapter https://www.amazon.in/CrossBeats-Bluetooth-Receiver-Adapter-Wireless/dp/B074VXPXHV

There's an Aux jac. But it's smaller than 3.5 mm. I will have to find a converter as well then
