I have had a very bad time exchanging my old phone with Flipkart's service. Even a single minute scratch on the body has lead to the phone being rejected by the delivery person. Is this a regular problem with Flipkart? Has anyone faced issues exchanging phone on Flipkart?

Just curious to know which phone did you ordered? Was it apple?

Yes, this has happened with me as well. Not sure if it was Amazon or Flipkart. Instead of exchange, I would just sell my old phone on Cashify and use that cash to help with buying the new phone.

Exchanged 2-3 phones on Amazon, never faced an issue.

Have exchanged two phones on Amazon so far and the only real thing they checked was if it’s turning on, buttons are fine, camera opens etc. There were some minor scratches on the body and a small bump.

Another great place to sell (or sometimes buy) used gear: https://in.webuy.com - They will also be very picky about things they take, but you will very often get 20-30% more than most other places, in cash. And even more in credit.

If you are in a village like me, you would have better chances of exchange. They delivery guys there aren't very knowledgeable and just take the old phone without any tests. I exchanged at both Amazon and Flipkart and in both the cases they just come and took it without even turning them on. With Amazon since I had lot of deliveries, that guy became familiar and even gave me the new phone in the afternoon and came back for the old phone in the evening since I asked for some time to exchange data 😄.

I think Cashify looks like a better option. They don't seem to have many filters for getting the phone sold.
