Hey All, I am looking to buy a tablet for taking notes and teaching. I have the following two options in mind: • XP-Pen Deco 01Wacom CTL-472 I want to know if there is another alternate which I can consider before making a decision. Budget is ~Rs 3 - 3.5K, but if the product is REALLY good, then I might consider throwing in a few more bucks.

My friend owned one of these and I had the opportunity to try it out for note-taking. Tbh, it's not what I expected. The experience was very poor and I couldn't find any use for these in terms of note-taking even after several days of practice. Thank god I didn't spend any money on one. That's just my experience though. Others might have a different opinion.

Thanks @faint-energy-11966 for sharing your experience. What is your preferred way of taking notes? I, at the moment, take notes via the good old way of pen, and paper. But it becomes cumbersome after a while, since I take a LOT of notes around different topics to begin with. Hence was looking into the option of taking digital notes and cataloging them for a quick-review.

I tried a lot of stuff, including iPad and Apple Pencil combo for full handwritten digital notetaking experience, graphic tablets, etc. Finally settled with the following - 1) Most of my notes are typed in Notion because it's just quick. If I get exhausted typing on my PC, I can pick up my phone and continue from where I left off. 2) For marking up pdfs and taking notes within pdfs, I use my iPad and apple pencil combo. You can supplement this with a graphic tablet that works across PC, mobile, etc. I decided against buying a graphic tablet because it wasn't as accurate and intuitive as I was expecting it to be. That might not be everyone's experience so please take my comments with a pinch of salt. It is also possible that my experience with graphic tablet was bad because it was one of the cheaper ones. Maybe expensive ones perform better

@quick-judge-84214 I have the exact use-case and in the market to buy graphic tablet but does have concern regarding the experience. I have found Huion newly released rts-300 to be bang for the bucks. Other higher rts models are rts-500 and rts-700.
