Hi everyone, if someone wants to start with micro saas product then how should one decide about pricing? Lets say if I want to sell micro saas product (assume costs $10 per month) and there are already many competitors in market selling similar product with around 2-3x number of features (assuming it costs $15-20 per month) then why would someone be interested in micro saas product with few features. Someone can easily put 5-10$ extra and get product more features. Can someone please let me know what can be done in such situation? Has someone came across similar situation before? Thanks in advance šŸ™‚

Disclaimer: Thinking from consumer's perspective - I've not sold any saas product myself. Pricing and number of features may not be the only deciding factors. Few other reasons I can think of that might drive customers to your product: • Ease of use (less features - clean UX - gets job done and gets out of the way) • Custom features fitting some customers' exact workflow needs • Easy-reach to creator to request features/changes/fixes

• SaaS is never winner takes all market so don't think about the competition, I've seen multi million dollar ARR for products solving a problem for a specific niche. • Play around pricing: Usage based, Feature based, User based, etc to differentiate your product pricing from the competition. I've led growth for 2 profitable SaaS startups. Happy to share my thoughts if you need any advice!
