Friend got unreleased Apple Pencil 3 from Amazon, like how they’re also providing charging cable this time.

Yeah my friend did the same, I’ll update on how it went with Amazon following this. 😄 Interestingly, I ordered mine back in July during Prime Day sale and the seller was Appario itself, but fortunately I didn’t got scammed.

Ok, so Amazon initiated refund after a phone call with customer care. They didn’t offer a genuine replacement (likely because item was ordered under sale discount).

I’m that friend who received this unreleased Apple pencil 3, 😅 Interesting part is that the serial number that was printed on the box was a genuine one, checked on the apple support page. Had it been a copy of the Apple pencil many may take it as genuine. Appario Retail using serial numbers of previously sold goods maybe 🤔

What do you think, could it be random scams designed by appario, or just dishonest employees?

AFAIK, Appario and Cloudtail are just proxy companies owned by Amazon. So Amazon here as very little incentive in such scams since they will have to refund/replace anyways. Might just be a delivery scam
