Just register the business and use it for all of your products. You can claim tax breaks for a lot of stuff that you use while you work on your application.

Registering a company is easy. Closing it down = a whole world of pain. Don't do it unless you are serious about starting a business. You can claim the same benefits via registering as a sole proprietorship as well (takes 1 day in most states & get an agent online). I would register a company early ONLY if I want to limit liability (i.e. you are doing something risky and might get sued). But in India, even if you are a Pvt Ltd company, you'd get arrested, etc. if something goes wrong in your company. So not a lot of benefit of registering it earlier.

@echoing-computer-87366 You will know when you need to register 🙂 If you are familiar with front-end stacks -- it is like Redux/Centralized State containers -- you will know when it is time to include them because you will start hitting boundaries.

@echoing-computer-87366 one route is to first open a sole-prop (faster, cheaper, easier to maintain) and start working on your idea. when time to scale you can convert it to pvt ltd or open a new pvt ltd

How much time/effort required to convert from sole-prop to Pvt Ltd ??
