Fortunately these changes are under the hood instead of a single user-facing product, so less likely to be killed.

Finally there's hope for leaving the high walled Apple Ecosystem! If this goes well, I'd be able to go back to Android once again :')

Only issue is that there's no high end decent Android phone available in India any more. You'd have to tolerate the skinned versions.
