Shifted to a new place, how do I update the address in my parents Aadhar cards given the new light/gas bills are in my name, not theirs.

Visit local post office, most post offices have facility to update Adhaar details, it'll be instantaneous compared to doing it online.

Check the aadhar official website and find nearby updation centres, there are tons now and a very simple process nowadays

Man, situation in Chennai is bad or you folks had good luck. Went to post office in my area and they said they don't do it (anymore). A centre that was listed said they don't do as well due to lot of issues and asked me to go to main district office. Finally found an agent and got it done.

I can at least say for Maharashtra and Gujarat, as in both states, Post Offices do it during morning hours. Too bad it isn't consistent across all the states.

Not a good solution but you can open a new bank a/c with your new address as the communication address and then use the statement from that account to update your aadhar address online
