Looking to purchase an external monitor for my Mac...

Looking to purchase an external monitor for my Macbook M1 Air. I am a marketer & will be using this screen primarily for browsing, reading text & watching video content. I won't be doing any sort of gaming. I have a budget of 15k, 20k tops. I have earlier used a Dell U2415 LCD 60Hz monitor. That gets the job done. I just wish the sharpness was better in Dark Mode though. Confused if I should be considering similar HD (1920 X 1080) 60hz monitor or if 4k monitor is worth the money. LG 24-inch (60.96 cm), Full HD IPS (1920 x 1080) Monitor Samsung 24 inch (60.4 cm) IPS 75 Hz

Buy a 4K monitor. Anything less than that really doesn't go well with the mac. I've a Full HD one from LG, the text just gets all blurry if you zoom in on things.

@dazzling-author-99268 Heard someone using a 2K monitor & this to control the resolution if/as needed. Is this practical?

@clean-caravan-82527 For any other laptop, 2K monitors work fine but personally I wouldn't recommend using a 2K for the Mac. I've tried adjusting the resolution on a Mac and it didn't really work for me. You might not notice initially but I stare at text all day and using the 2K monitor I've (from LG) caused eye strain and headache. Monitors rarely break and last around 8+ years so I'd recommend buying a 4K or Retina monitor from the above list.
