@strong-evening-37474 If you mean the light emanating from the desk, that's not a light tube, it's a RGB deskpad/mousepad

TIL that there are RGB mousepads too! Also do you guys know what I can use for splashing light on the wall behind the monitor? Strips feel dangerous (Philips one is way too expensive as a trail). Any tubes or something convenient like this mousepad?

@strong-evening-37474 Depending on your use case, you can choose a particular solution. I work with (IoT) hardware in my day to day and it can be quite fun. Why do you feel it's dangerous? A good side project could be to power on some LED lights with an Arduino and then build on that? There a number of guides on ambient lighting setups that you can DIY
