Should we turn off our WiFi routers when not being used like late night to morning? I have never turned it off ever πŸ˜… (Its a ZTE router provided by Airtel itself)
f
Turn off? No, we aren’t dinosaurs. πŸ˜› But scheduled restarts once every few days (or even daily) would be wise. Most modern routers support it.

The button for router has been strategically placed right beside the bed for such difficult times.

I have literally taped the switch so that no one turns it off even accidentally. Tenda routers have an auto restart Kushal mentioned which I've set to 4:30am. Nokia modem has been running for weeks. I guess it boils down to personal preference/convenience. Electricity savings from turning off router for 8h will be only around 20-30Rs per month.
