Looking for suggestions to visit places near Chandigarh for 2 days. We're arriving on 14th early morning in Chandigarh and have to be back by 16th morning to attend a friend's wedding. Any ideas? We were thinking of going to Shimla. Also if anyone's around in Chandigarh on 16th afternoon and wants to meet lmk. Thanks!

Shimla is a bit far. I'd suggest Kasauli. It's halfway and really cozy hill Station.

But would it be enough for 2 days? I see it's just an hour from Chandigarh

Yes, you would have good time. Timber trail, mall road etc.

You could do the kasauli - dagahai circuit

kasauli or Amritsar as well 3-4 hrs

Amritsar seems more than 6 hours according to Google?
