I have corporate health insurance but if I leave company then policy will get terminated automatically. So for backup I want to have another mediclaim. Is there any checklist or any mandatory points which need to check before buying any policy? I am looking for 5-10lakh cover for family of 4

you can get the company policy transferred to your name as an individual policy. the hr should help you with that.
