I don't know why but I just feel a bit off about this. I’m not sure if we should ban Russian citizens from visiting websites just because Putin decided to wage a war. Especially when we know that Russia is not a democracy per se. How about instead of banning them, we add a banner?

I don’t think Putin or Russian military would be impacted by this, The most impact would be for common citizens like us who are already suffering a lot economically and emotionally. let’s not also make internet a trouble for them.

In this age of extremely interdependent economy, blocking economic access is a type of war. By being part of it, we are definitely causing deaths of some poor people in Russia. The west understands it and is getting away with it because they've deliberately not updated the definitions. Putin doesn't mind because the poor don't keep him in power. Freeze the Russian billionaires assets outside Russia if it's really important, that'll work. We don't need a plug-in for that.
