Does anyone use UPS for wifi router here ? Is it worth it ? I mean does it work always ?

Yes only need it for the moment DG kicks in or when power is back. Need it for a minute max and anyway your UPS will beep to indicate no power

I am using Resonate UPS since 2 years. Works well till now. Not sure how much battery capacity is left now, but in the past I've seen it last upto 5 hours in case of power outages. I will say it is well worth the price even if it lasts for 1 year - especially when one doesn't have generator backup.

It didn't work for me. Because when the power goes, the power of the Internet provider in my apartment also goes. It becomes available only after the backup generator kicks in for both of us.

My router is located at the center of the house while workdesk in one of the bedrooms. Comes in super handy during powercuts especially during meetings. Laptop has inbuilt battery so that stays live always, keeps things moving like a breeze. Although, as Ashish mentioned, I’d recommend checking with the ISP if power for the switch/hub is dependent on main power source. If your internet source goes down, there’s no point in keeping a backup for the router.
