I have a bunch of
Wyze cameras for home.
Their software is quite good and features are very reasonable. But very expensive in India. Might make sense to get it from the US if you can.
I have cloud save set up here.
If that is not an option, get a
Tapo camera.
I have 8 of these installed at our
school. 1 went bad within a year. But still decent given the price point. I don't use cloud save on this. Instead all of them have a Micro SD card which gives me about a week, 10 days of footage if required.
You can also look at their pan models.
Finally, I have an
IMou outdoor camera setup at my parent's place with cloud recording.
Pricing is okay - and software is ok.
Software and pricing wise, I'd prefer:
Wyze > TP Link > IMou
Wyze has had security issues in their v1 cameras which I am aware of. I usually have the Wyze cameras either pointing at the door to record visitors coming in / going out.
Or have them on only when we are out on vacation. YMMV.
