Has anyone applied for a B1/B2 visa as a contractor? Any idea about wait times, success chances, etc?

I don't know if the things have changed post pandemic with the raise of remote work, but pre pandemic it was hard to get b1/b2 as a contractor if you are in your 20s. One solution is to open a llp / partnership in india which proves you are employed in India

But this might have changed post pandemic! Please ask around with people who have applied now. Also, on the long term, if you have to be remote as a contractor and travel, have a company setup in India helps for visas.

Situation for getting B1/B2 has not changed.
