I am looking to buy a smartwatch to keep track during swimming (laps, distance). Any suggestions for a reasonably priced smartwatch that tracks swimming activity accurately? Budget is max 20k and would prefer watches that can give me data standalone (I'd prefer not to use apps, aggregators etc to view my data, do not need cloud sync etc), just want to see laps and the distance swum at the end of my session.

Following. ARJ how much do you swim that you felt a smart watch was needed? (curios) Budget smartwatches from Bolt, BoAt, Amazfit also offer swimming distances. Anyone has reviews of these features?

@loud-artist-61521 I am at the pool for an hour everyday, mostly around 50-60 meters distance. I'd like to keep track to improve and look into fancy stats like pace, SWOLF and what not. I could really do without it no issues, but I am not a smartwatch or watch wearer at the moment, and thought this was worth spending on!

Makes total sense. Looking forward to suggestions here

Garmin is your best bet however finding one under 20k is going to be hard. These are for professional folks so the cost is higher.

Apple watch does it well, but the lowest it’ll be available for would be 29k (Apple watch SE)
