Iterm2 seems to be consuming hell lot of battery in my Mac, what alternatives do you folks use?

I use Kitty (https://github.com/kovidgoyal/kitty). I used to be a Alacritty user when on Linux but Kitty works better for me on MacOS.
c
i have been using warp, i haven’t tested its battery consumption but is a good one to consider

Started using Warp a couple of days ago. It is looking good so far
b
started using warp from the past 3-4 weeks good experience so far
t
Warp sends everything on screen and publishes it on the internet without an option to remove it if you use the share function btw. It is interesting but the cloud integrations make me uneasy. I prefer my terminal to be simple.

I got to know about Warp from this thread. I have the same opinion as @tall-postman-9284. It doesn’t comfort me much that telemetry is not opt-in and can’t be opted out as well.

Does kitty use metal renderer for gpu rendering? Iirc only iterm had support for metal.
