@faint-energy-11966 So One UI is definitely on par with what Android 11 had to offer, here are my problems with it;
• Comparing to Material You, aesthetically One UI looks aged to me, and even One UI 5 (from Beta looks of it), is still looking ancient.
• The notification shade on One UI 4.0 (and even 5.0) is inferior to what even Android 11 offers in stock, it basically makes notification system crippled and iOS-ish.
• Some fundamental issues with the Samsung’s implementation of Android, like most parts of UI look iOS knock-off, the whole
screenshots issue.
• Animations are too slow compared to stock, and increasing scaling speed from developer options doesn’t solve it.
• Galaxy Store is garbage and continuously fights to manage apps against Play Store.
As for Camera, it is quite good, except that it has Samsung look to it, which makes photos too saturated than what thing looks like in real. Only reason I had to go with Samsung was that there was no other Android phone coming close in Camera dept. like Samsung, and my previous phone (7T) was dying, and I can’t deal with iPhone’s lightening obligation when every other device I have is USB-C. 🤷
