Hi Tribe, This is for runners here. What apps/gadgets do you use to track your runs? Do you listen to music while running? Do you just run or also do some basic body weight exercises like push ups, squats etc? Also, in case, if you supplement your diet with protein, what are the recommendations? It would be good if folks could summarise their workout regime(and diet maybe). I'll go first. I hit a 2-3 km run every morning at a steady pace, followed by an upside down hang for 30 secs, further followed by squats, push ups and crunches(3 reps each), ending with some basic stretching.

Hi, I wanted to build a chat webapp to talk with someone online (they'll access the domain of website online using their phone's browser). I'm currently using Wix in which there's a member chat plugin. I've checked other chat widgets which are used for customer support but the problem is they don't retain the old messages. With Wix, I could create a member, share the login details with them and once they're in, they can send text using the chat option. The problem is it's too clunky and doesn't support gifs. I know basic HTML, CSS, JS, and can try nodejs. I was checking out Matrix but it seems a bit tricky. Do you have any tips/suggestions? (This thing will be used only by 2 people fyi). Thanks!

Hey tribe, I am trying screen recording using OBS with Auto-wizard settings. From the video and screenshot, we can see that the quality of the video is not good. The text is not up to the resolution of the actual screen. I had the same issue with QuickTimePlayer and Kap as well. I am new to this. Can anyone guide me on what could be the issue? Hey folks! How do you decide what's a good % of hike after working at a company? So far, I've mostly accepted what the company said (say 20%) or tried to check stackoverflow jobs to see 75th/90th percentile based on similar jobs/experience etc but overall it feels like I just say a random number and not super happy with the approach I take. There have been instances where I felt underpaid after some time (because I work more hours/put more effort than I expect to get stuff done). Do you follow any specific method that works well?

Does anyone work uneven work days? For instance, assuming a 40h work week(5d), 12h for 2d and 6h for the rest of the week. The goal is to have meaningful amount of time in the shorter work days to do other activities. However, I'm not sure if it's a good idea practically.
