Hmm, noidea. Even as an admin i cant see why that was deleted. Perhaps something to do with removing old admins from github org?

Generally, ed25519 on windows was an issue with packaging for some platforms as we were never able to build native extensions for some deps. I have not looked at the state of that in quite some time. I know we have some catching up to do with platform support in bolt. That may be a good time to have another look.

It's a sore point for me, working with cross-platform customers.
Researched and found that Chef had a similar issue at the same time as Bolt. They "solved" it a couple years ago after the pre-compiled gems were released for windows.
