In a attempt to fix this I added the following lines to the bottom of my ssh config file.

host camnpunbutt.cam.scsc.local

Hostname camnpunbutt

port 22

PubkeyAcceptedKeyTypes +ssh-rsa

KexAlgorithms +diffie-hellman-group14-sha1

HostKeyAlgorithms +ssh-rsa
