This is coming from Puppet itself. Are you perhaps using an external node classifier?

We are. I have puppet.conf node_terminus and external_nodes set. Oh, maybe it's just not picking the script up for some reason.

Could be. Not sure why, could be an issue with tune. We haven’t touched that in a while.

Yup, that made it happy. I used

--external_nodes {/path/to/script}

. Looks like it doesn't see it in the puppet.conf. Thanks! Sometimes, I just need a soundboard. 🙂
