hey guys, I was wondering who here is using zeit now for their production graphql-yoga server deployments. I am trying to decide between a digital ocean droplet with docker (where my prisma server is currently housed) or taking the somewhat easier way of using zeit now. Any experience would be helpful!

I would also like to know! Out of interest where are you thinking of hosting your database?
For what it’s worth I was thinking of hosting on heroku, as they also do really good postgres hosting (and I want to keep latency between DB and server to a minimum)

Also interested in what people are using for hosting their prisma server. I host my server (prisma client) on a Digital Ocean droplet so I thought latency-wise it makes sense to host the prisma server & database there, but on the $5/month droplet my memory and CPU usage are both spiking to >90% and I’m getting some intermittent connection errors. Curious if people have experience with Zeit

Apollo GraphQL with Prisma Client gateway is on Zeit - moved Prisma Server off Zeit and onto GCP. I find Zeit to be great - very stable for Apollo and Yoga, but I decided not to use it for Prisma Server because of scaling and security issues.
Zeit is great - V1 is awesome. Unfortunately with V2 subscriptions will not work and it is hassle to get up and running. There is a chance I might move everything to GCP.

Sorry to bring up this old thread, guys, but I'm currently trying to figure out the best place to deploy my Prisma service to. Right now, it's running locally via Docker. What did you end up doing?

Our current plan is probably to go with fargate on AWS
Still a little up in the air but that's what I'm leaning towards

Sounds good. Be sure to report back how it goes. It seems like there are a lot of people on here who can build stuff with Prisma but don't necessarily know how best to deploy it (myself included). 👍
