12/05/2018, 4:19 PMHere's the odd thing, I seem to have been able to create some data by running node index.js, but I cannot find it in mongodb compass? (after turning off the containers and going into mongodb compass)

12/05/2018, 4:58 PMIf I am not mistaken when you turn off the container the data is lost. You need store the data on a docker volume which is where persistent data lives.
