slackbot [9:00 AM] Hi there 👋 You just said guys which excludes our non-male friends 🙂 We are an inclusive community, please use an alternative like everyone, folks or fellow humans instead. We're always trying to ensure that the Prisma community is inclusive and encouraging individuals to use gender-neutral terms is a small part of that. We are hoping that by inviting folks to use alternatives to guys, we can support an environment where everyone feel addressed. The Prisma code of conduct (https://github.com/prisma/prisma/blob/master/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md) asks for community-members to use gender-neutral language. The bot was created to address what we saw as the overwhelming majority of times where this is not the case. Our hope is that the cost of using a different word is low and the benefit to the community is far greater 🙏 This message is not specific to you but to all of us who form this community 🙏 I hope you understand 🙂

Kinda wild... But as a Californian I would literally have no problem addressing my immediate family of my dad, my mother, my sister, and my brother as "guys"... though I certainly wouldn't address my mother or sister as "guy"... so... makes me think. 🤔
