Thanks! I am sorry about the inconvenience, polling can be disabled from settings, that is a workaround, posting a comment on the issue to show how.

@divyendu can you do this as a global setting so it will disabled by default? Or only per-user basis

This has to be done by user for now, before we fix this and cut a new release.
