Hi All, has anyone used Prisma with FeathersJS? If yes, does anybody have a good reference (tutorial/blog etc.) that I can use?

Why would you want to use yet another api layer on top of prisma api layer? I think I might be missing something. Or are you trying to not use prisma api?

Hey Jo, I really like the FeathersJs Framework (especially the entire hooks approach) and want to use Prisma as an ORM which they mention in the documentation - "Prisma is a great fit for building REST& gRPC APIs where it can be used in place of traditional ORMs. It provides many benefits such as type-safety, a modern API and flexible ways for reading and writing relational data."

Gotcha. So prisma as orm and feather as api?

Yes, basically you can use standalone ORM part of Prisma via introspection. That way you don't need to manage migrations via Prisma. Also, possible in prisma 1, just use --no-migrate when with prisma deploy
