12/28/2020, 5:36 PMSlack is really meant as an internal communication tool for teams. Discord’s features are generally better suited toward communities. Threads are something that would be noticeably lacking though

04/04/2021, 2:04 PMdiscord - security wise it's an operational nightmare, performance wise it depends on what server you stay on, ecosystem wise it's 10x more people/attention/engagement; it is not rocket science to figure out using discord would result in a lot more people asking prisma questions without knowing any js or gql
