Is there a command like
prisma migrate status
which can return only if schema is up-to-day, all migrations applied.
status
does this but also contains a lot of other info making it difficult to parse. I am looking to us it for script logic conditions.
d
you thinking it returns an object with key values? that would be useful
b
I can work with that from a shell, sure
or event a parameter, --isUpToDate, --isAllApplied, etc. which returns true/false 😛
The key/value pairs are great for covering multiple scenarios of course
So @Dominic Hadfield are there any options in the CLI that you know of?
d
Not that I know of, I can @Ryan but I think he is offline for the day
Just to clarify, I'm just some guy and don't work at prisma
b
Sure. Appreciate your responses none-the-less!
d
its a good feature request, currently the behaviour is just to run deploy and let the migration engine take over applying migrations but the issue is that there is no way to programatically resolve migrations as it just clangs
j
I do work at Prisma, and agree this is a good feature request that can be backed by a real use case - so go ahead and create it and the team will take a look at it.
