thank you @sorenbs , but what i found odd is that i had to split up both my table name and my field name with 3 underscores in order to get it to work, and that part was not in the list of methods in the docs tab you mentioned
table name: PaymentMethod
enum’s field name: cardBrand
so to get it to work, i had to add underscores between each word in the table name, between each word in the enum’s field name, and then another underscore in the middle, as seen below:
$cardBrand: PAYMENT_METHOD_CARD_BRAND!,
even though this was the only way i could get it to work (i got lucky after too much time spent experimenting haha), this seems incorrect … i think the more proper way for enums to declare their own type, is like this:
$cardBrand: PAYMENTMETHOD_CARDBRAND!,
not like this:
$cardBrand: PAYMENT_METHOD_CARD_BRAND!,
so if my table was named with some made up word, and graphql starts forcing me to split up that made-up word with an underscore arbitrarily, then that could cause some inconsistencies
