(I know this is a question that has been asked a lot/it's hard to tell at this stage - but just trying to gather information to make an informed decision!). What are everyone's general thoughts on Apollo/Relay long-term - which will see more adoption/benefits of each/community support/debugging help etc.? I used the first iteration of Relay and found it difficult to work with and have since moved to Apollo which was much easier to make progress. From what I can see, the new Relay (which is now in alpha) will remove a lot of the complexity that existed in the previous version. Also wondering if there is a showcase for Apollo-based projects that are in production? I welcome any answer 🙂

Hey thanks for starting this discussion! Have you seen our Relay vs. Apollo comparison? https://www.graph.cool/docs/tutorials/relay-vs-apollo-iechu0shia/

@nilan I have read this yes (fantastic resource btw!), however from what I understand it deals with the old API e.g. it doesn't include the new mutation API: https://facebook.github.io/relay/docs/api-reference-relay-graphql-mutation.html#content.
Which is why I'm asking this question..
For example, if there was a choice between the old Relay API and Apollo, personally I'd choose Apollo every time

Right! Just wanted to know if we're on the same page here 🙂 We'll watch further developments to Apollo and Relay closely and will keep the article up todate. I created this Github issue to discuss this topic further, could we move this conversation over there? https://github.com/graphcool/content/issues/54

Yup, great!

@nilan and projects using Apollo showcase - do you know if this exists?

I'm not aware of something like this! we use Apollo in different projects as well, for example for our homepage: https://github.com/graphcool/homepage
