Has anybody here had success with the new functions feature and inline code?

@aurnik I was using the new function feature and inline code, but i'm not impressed with it., i encounter several errors which i'm not sure how to solve, @nilan knows most about it. I guess it was not ready for primetime.

@iamrommel Yeah I’m having a similar experience. Were you able to get a function invoked at all? All my code looks right but it’s showing zero invocations and zero logs

Same here,not getting it invoked at all. talked to nilan yesterday and they are looking into it

@nilan Just wanted to mention here in case its not on your radar. The docs for functions have a page about how to throw an error, which basically says to do something like return { error: "Error message here" }, however that doesnt seem to throw any errors when I try it. Only way I can get it to throw an error is to do it asynchronously by doing cb("error here"). Also, the comments in the in-browser editor reference an input variable in the module.exports function but it looks like its all being passed in a variable called event, not input.
