a
you have to escape newlines and quotes and many other chars.....very outdated
n
@andrius this is what GraphQL variables are made for 🙂
a
how I can use them if I build a multiple queries in one object?
n
there's nothing stopping you from doing that, can you make a quick example of what you want to do?
a
for example iterate through array of photos and make one query that will insert them all
photos have captions
n
ah I see. You could come up with your own naming scheme and build the string dynamically, but in this case running multiple separate mutations is probably the better approach
a
with separate mutations I have performance issue
how many photos you want to create on average?
a
1-35
do you know a reason why these queries are not json object ?
n
a
i see that i maybe I can create objects of vars dinamically, but it's kinda ugly
n
see the last code snippet there
a
yes, technically they are, but in practice they are strings )
n
ah you mean the query itself! how should that work?
a
like in elasticSearch
or Firebase
@nilan in my main object there are 36 strings, putting all of them in vars is very inconvenient...
json object would be much better...
maybe you should ask the guys who did lokka to test their library with big structures and different data...
