Is there a way to set a field to `null` in a mutation?

```
mutation setToNull($value: String) {
  updateItem(value: $value) {
    id
  }
}
```

then call the mutation with `{ value: null }` as the variables

Nice, I hadn't tried it with Graph.cool yet, but I was experimenting with an un-named competitor (that I ultimately didn't care for) and if you set variables to null they just didn't do anything, then I came across this conversation <https://github.com/graphql/graphql-js/issues/133> and wondered if it works here.

The thing is that Apollo currently doesn't support the "inline" null as far as I'm aware
