hey guys, I was wondering, I know graph.cool is a service but what would happen if graph.cool closes or shutdown, I am so afraid of this since that parse.com thing happened but they made it open source though, so I'm wondering if it's safe to use graph.cool and what would happen if it closes

@johhansantana hey Johhan, thanks for your questions 🙂 first and foremost, we are a VC backed company and we don't plan at all to close shop. We're leveraging the open specification GraphQL whereever we can to reduce vendor-lock. For example, we're using the GraphQL SDL syntax to create and export projects which you can also use to export the project to your own GraphQL server. Also, we're embracing the serverless paradigm which allows you to really own the business logic of your app. Last but not least, we're working on a draft for a sunset policy so you have enough time to think about your migration path if it would ever come to the unfortunate event of us shutting down.

@nilan I'm having so much fun playing around the platform, I can't wait to try it on a real project 😄 thank you
