are you suggesting a channel #support? what would be the purpose? what's the difference to #general?

well we can use thread but I still think that a channel for that is better...waiting on a reply on forum is quite long...for example I'm waiting form days for an easy question that maybe will never be read

dumping all your questions in #general just doesn't scale very well 🙂 if everyone does it, no question has any visibiltiy. whereas dumping your questions to the Forum scales pretty good.

I mean I get it. GraphCool started as a small team with an AWESOME idea, and they released Framework as an open source project knowing the complexity that comes with it. We need to be patient, since they have a large roadmap I think, specially with the AWS Marketplace stuff coming soon.

I don't mind if you discuss your questions here 🙂 but you can't expect a reply from anyone if it gets lost after a couple of hours. Personally, I am not able to keep up with all the messages in #general. Highlighting me doesn't change this 🙂 This channel & the Forum is your connection to the Graphcool Community, it's fair if you need to wait a bit to get a response; sometimes you might not get a response at all. That's also fair 🙂 The best way to combat this is to participate yourself in an engaging way.

point of view... fine for me ... I'm part of other groups and everyone has an #help channel where can ask about things and waiting someone to reply and it works really well to learn about common problems, ask for dummies question and help. I'm just sharing my point of view I'm not saying to do that

yeah I understand your point daniele, but open-source dynamics involves time and community effort, so let's keep developing and building up!
For example, in my case, i'll just set aside the task that's freezing my development and continue with another until we reach a solution.

@daniele I'll closely watch how things develop and will think about a separate #help or #support channel 🙂 thanks a lot for your input!

Ok, and what about the intercom on the graphcool console? Should we stop using it to get support?

no, you can still use that 🙂 but the same guidelines exist there, if it's a bug I'll help you write a bug report etc
