@nilan is there by any chance a throttling limit that limits access on the free plan? I'm just developing away here and it seems that the api can be very inconsistent with response times

Hey @davidyoung, thanks for bringing this up 🙂 both services deployed on the free cluster and on PROJECT clusters are subject to volatile response times, due to shared resources. We are continuously investing in service stability and performance to improve your experience here. If you are interested in getting dedicated resources for a GraphQL API, I encourage you check out Prisma and Prisma Cloud: https://www.prismagraphql.com/

Hi @nilan, thanks very much for this. I do find the difference between graphcool cloud/prisma kind of confusing, I like how Graphcool takes care of the whole backend for me and I get to just query the api, it's really after speeding up my development time. Would Prisma Cloud be able to do the same as that I would I need to provision the database as well/manage it myself or would it be very similar to Graphcool Cloud. Also, would it be more reliable to build my business on Prisma Cloud if it would be the same as the above, or is Graphcool BaaS not going anywhere? Sorry for the question, just finding it a bit confusing.

Got it! 🙂 No worries, many have similar questions. That's why we collected the most important information here: https://www.graph.cool/forum/t/graphcool-framework-and-prisma/2237?u=nilan Please let me know if you have further questions after reading that thread! 🙂

At a later point, we will integrate Prisma back into the Graphcool Framework.
Is this still planned?
