Prisma Migrate is in Preview
After more than a year of hard work and incorporating your feedback,
we are super excited to release Prisma Migrate in Preview 🎉 Read the
announcement blog post to learn more.
This version is the evolution of the Experimental Prisma Migrate that we released last year. We've changed Migrate to be more
predictable and providing fine-grained
control over how exactly database schema changes are carried out. Here is an overview of the major improvements in this version:
◭ Auto-generated migrations files in plain SQL
◭ More flexible and customizable to a variety of use cases
◭ Integrated workflows for development and production
We'd love to hear from you how you like the new version, please try out Prisma Migrate and share your feedback for it
here.
