Is there any work around for a streamlit app that requires more than 200mb of files?

My app requires many parquet files and the total is probably like 3.000mb

Do you have them hosted somewhere? You could switch to the docker deployment option and download them when your app starts 

I dont have them hosted anywhere, but the docker option sounds good. Is it a different setting in ploomber?

here's a docker example that deploys a streamlit app, you can change the entrypoint to something like `bash start.sh` and add a command to download the files and then the command to start the app

So basically I have to add a docker file to the .zip I upload when creating the app in ploomber? 

I have no experience with docker but chatgpt gave me the content of the file

yes, you can use the Dockerfile I shared earlier and select the Docker option. once you have your app running, I can help you modify it so it downloads the data when the app start

no, the idea is that your zip file will only contain your code and when deploying your app, the process will download the files so they're accessible to the app. but you'll need to host them somewhere. are they available to download somewhere or do you only have them locally?

I can try to save them in a google drive and access them from the python code and cache the result

Hello! I am running into an issue while trying to run "%sql <postgresql://student>@/Final" in an AWS EC2 Community AMI. It is saying the role "student" does not exist. Can anyone help?

you're trying to connect to a db that doesnt have the "student" role. (the credentials are invalid) you'll need to check in the docs or with the sysadmin which are the right credentials
