Hi @Laura Gutierrez Funderburk, i have a question, I tried to connect the MotherDuck via Python but it keeps giving me this error:
InvalidInputException: Invalid Input Error: Initialization function "motherduck_init" from file "/Users/immanuelsanka/.duckdb/extensions/v0.8.1/osx_amd64/motherduck.duckdb_extension" threw an exception: "Not implemented Error:
Your DuckDB version (0.8.1) is no longer supported by MotherDuck
Please see https://duckdb.org/docs/installation/ for instructions on how to upgrade. Is it because they will upgrade the MotherDuck? The documentation says it will be upgraded tomorrow (12th Oct)

We’re excited to share that MotherDuck plans to upgrade to DuckDB 0.9.1 this Thursday, October 12th!
Do not upgrade your DuckDB clients to 0.9 or 0.9.1 yet if you are using MotherDuck. Upgrading will cause breaking compatibility issues.
    DuckDB Improvements include:
    • Support for Iceberg tables
    • Support for Azure
    • Better performance and reliability with lower memory usage
    • Support for in-context AWS credentials
    • A PySpark-Compatible API
    • More intelligent parsing of CSV files
To bring you these features MotherDuck plans to upgrade on Thursday, October 12th.

    hi @Immanuel Sanka
TL;DR: We were planning to upgrade MotherDuck to DuckDB 0.9.1 today, October 12th. We are postponing this upgrade until Monday.
We will upgrade MotherDuck to 0.9.1 on Monday at 9am EST.
Do not upgrade your DuckDB clients to 0.9 or 0.9.1 yet.
    Details
In order to upgrade your MotherDuck setup to DuckDB 0.9.1 we must migrate all your data and metadata alongside the runtime. We built a system to perform this migration on your behalf automatically, and we've thoroughly tested DuckDB 0.9.1.
While performing a complete dry-run of migrating all of our several thousand users, we discovered a number of concerns. We want to protect our users from regression, and thus we've decided to do more testing and hardening.
    • We will upgrade your MotherDuck environment automatically.
    • The upgrade should take no more than an hour.
    • MotherDuck will be unavailable during that time.
    • You will want to upgrade your CLI/Python clients to 0.9.1 afterwards.
For more information, please see our Guide to Upgrading to 0.9.1.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to support@motherduck.com, or in our Slack community.

this looks like a ML training pipeline with a rest api component. sounds like the right approach is to train locally, then create an app.zip and add the pickle file to the Dockerfile and deploy it with fast api

Hi @Immanuel Sanka See there is a new addition on your repo I also saw you faced a barrier with deployment Can you please share if you are still facing the barrier? One suggestion shared here https://ploomber-io.slack.com/archives/C028KJCJDRT/p1698720041291759 indicated that setting your environment variable using .env and load_dotenv could work I see you are importing the key
