I’ve not, I’ve been using the open ai
# 👋︱welcome

I’ve not, I’ve been using the open ai codex extension for vs code and I love it, though it is token hungry. I’ve seen nexus mentioned in the news letters; do you think my project would benefit?
p
how many documents are you searching across?
and what kind of documents or text are you putting into Pinecone
b
I currently have 1620 tickets in my archive. It's text transcripts from work order logs. I originally started using pinecone trying to create an AI tech support bot with product manuals, but have scrapped that project. Could never get it dialed in fully.
p
when you say dialed in -- was it just not accurate or was there something else that was going on?
also DM me your email address real quick and I will onboarded you to Nexus
you can just play with it this weekend and see if its a good fit
b
At one point I had it about 90% accurate, which was great, but then it would occasionally dump a bunch of unrelated manual pages into the chat. I decided to scrap that and go at it from a different angle, where I built a sql index to help guide in queries based on a drill down of product (brand > type > model > part) etc, but that kept giving false negatives. I'm not great at programming honestly, and I've been a half-assed part time dev for the last year by necessity.
p
hey, i onboarded you into Nexus. see if you got the email
yeah I think Nexus might be a possible solution for you here
