Hi there @Adrian Patterson :) There’s simply a default config value for
OPAL_DATA_CONFIG_SOURCES
(as you can see here) I suggest you read the manual here 😉 : https://docs.opal.ac/getting-started/running-opal/as-docker-image/run-opal#step-5-server-config---data-sources
a
Gotcha -- wasn't sure if it was an optional configuration or was mandatory. Thanks and have a great one!
@Or Weis And if I don't want any topics for a client, is that possible? (I know this defeats the purpose, but this is only temporarily) Could I just set
OPAL_DATA_TOPICS
to an empty string to avoid the client trying to fetch from the
policy_data
source?
o
Yes, if a client doesn't match a topic it won't get updates for it (notice different topics for policy and data updates)
