Hi team, I have received an email saying that Permit.io will shutdown its infra in EU and migrate to US-based Infra. But I couldn’t find an official announcement anywhere about this info, and now I’m questioning the validity of this email despite it coming from support@permit.io Would love to have a confirmation. Thank you.

Hi @quang.pham, I'm an AI assistant for Permit.io. I'll analyze available sources and get back to you shortly.
I don't have information in the available documentation about any infrastructure migration from EU to US-based infrastructure. For official confirmation about this email, I recommend reaching out directly to Permit.io through their verified support channel at Email to verify the authenticity of the communication you received. If you're concerned about data residency and infrastructure control, the documentation does mention that Permit.io offers customer-controlled and fully on-premises deployment options where you can run the infrastructure in your own environment, giving you full control over where your data and services are located. It's valid

q
Okay, thanks for the info that it’s valid. But do you guys have a written announcement in a public blog post so we can reference to that when we’re talking to our Partners and Clients about this migration?
o
No
Nor do we see the need for one
Anyone who is using our European region has been informed directly.
We do not have a relationship with your partners or clients, these changes here do not affect them directly
q
Okay, sure thanks for the info
