05/20/2026, 8:24 AMdocker run -it -p 7766:7000 --env PDP_DEBUG=True --env PDP_API_KEY=<YOUR_API_KEY> permitio/pdp-v2:latest
Key differences from your command:
• Use -p 7766:7000 instead of -p 7000:7000 (the PDP listens on port 7000 internally but is typically exposed on 7766)
• Remove the -p 8000:8000 mapping (port 8181 is for OPA API if needed, not 8000) (3)
• Add PDP_DEBUG=True for detailed logging (1) (2)
• Use -it instead of -d initially to see the logs and confirm connection
After running this command, you can verify the container is running with docker ps and check logs with docker logs <container_id>. (1)
To help investigate why your PDP isn't showing in the Monitoring tab, could you provide:
1. Which Workspace / Project / Environment you are using
2. Which PDP version you are running (the tag after permitio/pdp-v2:)
3. The relevant logs from your PDP containerAsk Inkeep
