Thank you! Looks like we probably can't anyway per se until PER-5185 gets implemented. Otherwise the client would just overwrite anything we pull in outside of git.

Hi @TJ Tolton, Not sure I understand your needs How come you can’t use git? or do you just mean you don’t want to? OPAL can also fetch policy files from a file bundle API - see here Or do you want OPAL to not manage policy files at all and only sync data? - as in the PER-5185 you’re referring to.

Ah, sorry, i didnt realize there was an opal client file bundle. I assumed that when the file bundle was referred to as the alternative to .git, it was referring to vanilla OPA's file bundle feature, and the implication was to bypass opal when using it
